For
the 2008 Carroll County 4-H and FFA
Fair, the club members participated in a robotics competition. In January 2008 six teams of club
members received identical kits of VEX Robotics hardware. The VEX Robotics
Competition (VRC) Bridge Battle game was used for the 2008 Fair.

Yellow balls placed in the goal are worth 1 point, black balls are worth
5 points. Being parked entirely on
a white plywood piece at the end of the game is worth 5 points.

The two teams on the blue alliance, for this match, are driving their
robots. The robot on the right (red
alliance) has just dumped some yellow balls in the goal.

Music played all day long. So what’s a
robotics competition without some dancing?

And more dancing!

It was just for fun, after all.
